Hi, I’m Lynn — a passionate vocal coach and the founder of Gift Singing Studio, where every voice is welcomed, celebrated, and developed with care. With over five years of teaching experience, I work with singers of all ages to help them sing freely, confidently, and joyfully.

Why “Gift” Singing Studio?

The heart behind Gift Singing Studio is inspired by Psalm 100, which reminds us that singing is both a gift from God and a gift we can offer. I believe that every person has a voice worth hearing. My mission is to help individuals — whether beginners or seasoned singers — discover the gift of their voice and grow in confidence, skill, and musical expression.

My Background

I’m a certified teacher with the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) — a globally respected methodology based on vocal science, function, and balance. My training in the IVA technique equips me to teach singers how to sing with freedom, flexibility, and vocal health across all styles.

I also hold a Degree in Popular Music & Economics and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, which strengthens my ability to work with a wide range of learners — from young children to adults — using approaches tailored to each age group’s developmental and musical needs.

My teaching experience includes:

• MOE primary and secondary schools across Singapore

• Tertiary-level choirs and show choirs (e.g. Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Yale-NUS College)

• Private vocal coaching and performance preparation

• School-wide singing enrichment programs

• Both in-person and online voice lessons

My goal is to help singers express themselves with joy and ease. I approach teaching holistically — combining a strong understanding of vocal mechanics with creativity, care, and adaptability.

For each student or group, I focus on:

• Exploring and developing their unique voice

• Building vocal confidence and comfort

• Teaching healthy, sustainable vocal techniques

• Encouraging musicality, expression, and connection
